Imagine if we had elected the qualified candidate.

Imagine it Democrats hadn't tried to pull off a whole entire illegal scheme in full view of the American public.

Imagine if Harris hadn't been complicit.

Imagine if you admitted that you know what the word "qualified" means and an 80 year old who doesn't know which year it is ain't it.

No, your guy is worse... no, your guy is worse... baw weh weh.. Let me break it down for you dimwits. Anyone who supported the notion of Trump or Biden being the most powerful person in the world is a good for nothing pathetic loser.

Anyone who thinks this issue even requires discussion RIGHT NOW is a loser and completely disingenuous.

Np. I hate this for us. Biden and his team should’ve never allowed him to run a second term. They screwed up and gave us Trump.

Oh, Republicans, you don't get off the hook so easily. No one forced your party to nominate Donald Trump again. There was a perfectly acceptable alternative in Nikki Haley. Explain why she didn't get the nomination.

People like you are why this country is where it is. Zero morals and principles. No ability to recognize wrong or admit its impact when it's your side doing it.

NP. Why? The president is not a king. The president was never supposed to have so much power. He is there to sign legislation into law.

If that's the case, why the lies? Why do we have a 25th amendment? Obviously, it was never intended for the President to be cognitively or morally impaired, which is why we were given tools to remove them if they became so.

If you are a Trump voter this is an insane take right now.

Yes, we can learn from this. But since Trump would rather crash our economy, and Americans are generally too stupid to focus on more than one thing, let’s focus on the one that matters.

Why does MAGA always shift focus away from economic issues? You all randomly obsess over the debt, but avoid posts about the GOP Congress’s proposal to increase it by 5T.

You avoid posts about tarriffs, believing that companies that just lost 6T in market cap are going to invest in America based on a policy that may change next week (since Trump is already open to negotiations).

You deflect from major security concerns, twisting yourself in a pretzel to justify it even those involved admitted it was a mistake.

And whenever these issues are flagged, you want to talk about trans people or Biden’s health.

Right, what we should do is deflect blame from the Democrats who betrayed their base and handed the presidency to Trump. This way, next time around, they can continue throwing elections and furthering the country's slide into everything you claim not to want. Smart.

Anything to avoid talking about issues of substance, right PP? The world’s economy is burning but let take this very moment to ponder in depth the potential cognitive issues of someone now longer in office. Clearly, this is the moment when this topic has to be discussed. Clearly, this isn’t a desperate attempt at deflection. If we don’t discuss this right now, the world will right itself correct?

Trump was a bigger mistake than Biden; no doubt. What we need to understand and acknowledge is that some mistakes lead to bigger mistakes. Weakness breeds weakness. The Biden mistake led to the bigger Trump second term mistake. Lets learn from mistakes so not to repeat them in the future.

I still love all my fellow Americans but seriously, let's do better folks.

It's part of a larger discussion of our country's crisis of leadership. A discussion we desperately need to have.

Get over it. There are much bigger issues to focus on right now.

Surely, you can't be so stupid and addled by partisanship that you don't see how Democrats' decision to go down lying gave us the situation you're complaining about now.

And surely you can’t be so stupid as to think that validates voting for or supporting Trump.

So let’s agree: I won’t vote for Biden ever again and you start working to get rid of Trump.

THANK YOU. People, we all deserve better. This is not remotely the best we can do. We will never get better leadership if we do not demand better. None of this is okay. Not what the GOP is doing, and not what the Dems are doing either.

Our leaders owe us honesty. They owe us transparency. They owe us accountability. They owe us integrity. They owe us loyalty to the constitution. They owe us a commitment to democracy.

Both parties are utterly FAILING to meet these standards. We can argue all day about why and who is doing it worse, but none of that matters. We need new and better leadership that remembers who they serve and why.

I agree 100%. Trump and Biden "supporters" arguing over which of their guys is the worst is such a sad argument that no one will ever win. Let's all just acknowledge these two mistakes for what they were and move on TOGETHER to better things in 2028.

Who cares about Biden. Let's talk about Trump's obvious impairment

Because she wasn't popular enough to get the nomination. Biden should have never been the nominee in 2020, much less 2024. Do not blame Republicans for this mistake.

The smart move would have been to allow for a Trump second term. Neither Desantis nor Haley were heir-apparent to MAGA (and neither was Pence). Democrats could have blamed Trump for everything related to Covid and likely would have coasted to a win in 2024 (as long as they ran a centrist candidate themselves). Democrats would have kept the Senate and likely flipped the House as well, completely the opposite of what we have today. Democrats would have then had at least 4, if not 8 years to implement their agenda.

Political miscalculation is not the fault of the other party because it didn't do what you wanted (or thought) it would do.

My first thought in responding was to say let's put the Trump/Biden nightmares behind us and discuss how we can do better in the future but that is difficult to do when we're still fully immersed in the Trump nightmare.

That she wasn't popular enough to get the nomination is a severe indictment of the Republican party.

Look, I’d rather have a drooling zombie in the White House than the current occupant.

Why do you think we can't do better than drooling zombie or malignant narcissist? Surely we can and should aim higher, right?

OK, and yet someone who is allegedly not impaired has sunk the economy and ruined longtime international alliances in a matter of days. So what’s your excuse for Trump allegedly being more mentally competent than Biden, but demonstrably tanking our country and making us the laughingstock of the world in record time?

Dare you to answer, OP. Bet you won’t. Because you are a coward.
