Anyone who thinks this issue even requires discussion RIGHT NOW is a loser and completely disingenuous. |
Np. I hate this for us. Biden and his team should’ve never allowed him to run a second term. They screwed up and gave us Trump. |
Oh, Republicans, you don't get off the hook so easily. No one forced your party to nominate Donald Trump again. There was a perfectly acceptable alternative in Nikki Haley. Explain why she didn't get the nomination. |
If that's the case, why the lies? Why do we have a 25th amendment? Obviously, it was never intended for the President to be cognitively or morally impaired, which is why we were given tools to remove them if they became so. |
Trump was a bigger mistake than Biden; no doubt. What we need to understand and acknowledge is that some mistakes lead to bigger mistakes. Weakness breeds weakness. The Biden mistake led to the bigger Trump second term mistake. Lets learn from mistakes so not to repeat them in the future. I still love all my fellow Americans but seriously, let's do better folks. |
It's part of a larger discussion of our country's crisis of leadership. A discussion we desperately need to have. |
And surely you can’t be so stupid as to think that validates voting for or supporting Trump. So let’s agree: I won’t vote for Biden ever again and you start working to get rid of Trump. |
I agree 100%. Trump and Biden "supporters" arguing over which of their guys is the worst is such a sad argument that no one will ever win. Let's all just acknowledge these two mistakes for what they were and move on TOGETHER to better things in 2028. |
Who cares about Biden. Let's talk about Trump's obvious impairment |
Because she wasn't popular enough to get the nomination. Biden should have never been the nominee in 2020, much less 2024. Do not blame Republicans for this mistake. The smart move would have been to allow for a Trump second term. Neither Desantis nor Haley were heir-apparent to MAGA (and neither was Pence). Democrats could have blamed Trump for everything related to Covid and likely would have coasted to a win in 2024 (as long as they ran a centrist candidate themselves). Democrats would have kept the Senate and likely flipped the House as well, completely the opposite of what we have today. Democrats would have then had at least 4, if not 8 years to implement their agenda. Political miscalculation is not the fault of the other party because it didn't do what you wanted (or thought) it would do. |
My first thought in responding was to say let's put the Trump/Biden nightmares behind us and discuss how we can do better in the future but that is difficult to do when we're still fully immersed in the Trump nightmare. |
That she wasn't popular enough to get the nomination is a severe indictment of the Republican party. |
Look, I’d rather have a drooling zombie in the White House than the current occupant. |
Why do you think we can't do better than drooling zombie or malignant narcissist? Surely we can and should aim higher, right? |
OK, and yet someone who is allegedly not impaired has sunk the economy and ruined longtime international alliances in a matter of days. So what’s your excuse for Trump allegedly being more mentally competent than Biden, but demonstrably tanking our country and making us the laughingstock of the world in record time?
Dare you to answer, OP. Bet you won’t. Because you are a coward. |
