Who has successfully unloaded their Teslas?

Most of the Trump voters I know aren't interested in driving Teslas. Porsche, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes usually grace their driveways.

They never need oil changes or maintenance. Tesla is 100% American made and employs a lot of people. The whole electric car industry is thanks to Tesla because of their charging network. Whatever you think of Elon, there is much more to Tesla than Elon. As someone who was bullied as a kid, I refuse to be bullied over my car as an adult ffs.

In my life I’ve owned Volvos, fords, Subarus, Mazdas, and teslas. Mazda broke the most, followed by Volvo, followed by ford. Subaru and Tesla are each only about 6 years old but neither has ever needed a repair (other than oil changes on the Subaru)

We have a Subaru and a Tesla. Subaru has had oil consumption issues. Tesla sedan had problems with the seat. Tesla tires wear quicker and are very expensive. Otherwise, can't complain.

Can I ask you about the Subaru oil consumption issues? I’m just realizing that yes, my Subaru also has the oil light come a good 500-1k miles before it’s due for a change. I end up having to pull into a shopping center and add half a quart a couple
Times a year.

We are in the market for an EV, but won't buy a Tesla. I wouldn't get rid of one if I owned one, though.

If a Canadian manufacturer made an EV, I'd think long and hard about that.

Yet you don't have any problem with rich nazi lunatics terrorizing people for doing their work and voicing their opinions. Well, that shows you why your values are.

DP: Of course we hate Elon and everything he's doing. That has zero to do with my 6 year old car.

I am not putting stickers on my car. That's dumb.

How do you know who so many people are voting for?

But as someone said in a piece I read last year, Musk is the reason that I own an electric car and also the reason it isn't a Tesla.

I don't think you need to feel ashamed of driving a Tesla now, but it is really remarkable to see how rapidly he's turned people who agreed with what he was doing only five years ago completely against him.

+1. Stickers are tacky (no pun intended).

They talk about politics.

We have only owned Toyotas and Hondas and all have been fantastic cars. We keep each car on average a decade. Could keep them longer (running fine, good condition) but just want something new at that point.

We had Hondas last 10 and 15 years without any problems.

Correct. We had installed the panels years before that though. (Before his cousin got involved at Solar City, I think.) When we sold the house and installed new panels on our new house, we didn’t buy them from Tesla.

Oh, no, not before his cousin got involved in SolarCity (his cousin founded it); our installer was acquired by SolarCity after we installed. Anyway, my point is, I drive an electric car and have bought two solar panel systems — things Elon is really into — and I find him incredibly irritating now.
