None, decision day is 2/20/25 |
We are in US and we did not see/hear anything abnormal post-election. |
The mcdonogh bus is a beautiful and wonderful thing. |
You have to be ok with your kid spending a lot of time on the bus. Convenient for parents, but due to the number of stops, it can be a 45 minute to hour ride for the kid, each way. |
![]() We’ve been at Gilman since kindergarten, now in upper school. Would never expect to see that behavior. In fact, I’ve heard conservative parents grumble about how marginalized they feel because most families are so liberal. So while I don’t doubt what the previous poster’s daughter saw, my guess is that it was a couple of boys going for teenage shock value, simply because it is an anomalous. |
Yeah, I know some ppl love it, but I’d worry my kiddo would get carsick, or restless, etc. Two more days! Feels like February is crawling on forever. |
Usually closer to 30 min or less. |
It seems as if some decisions will arrive later in the day tomorrow. Boys’ Latin shared notifications will be sent at 3pm. |
I received a birthday message when my daughter had her birthday last weekend. Could this be a good sign that my girls might be admitted to Bryn Mawr? I would be excited if they got accepted, but we also applied to McDonogh. |
Hmm, haven’t heard from Gilman when to expect the news. I really hope we all get good news! |
Loyola Blakefield will email at/after 4pm 2/20. |
I’m already super distracted at work (fed), I really hope decisions come out soon! We only applied to one, and if it doesn’t work out will plan to do either our local public or one or the smaller pre-schools that goes through K. |
Wohoo, we are in at Gilman! |
Yay! My daughter was accepted to Bryn Mawr and McDonogh! Which one would be the better choice? |
Re McD and BMS - what grade is your DD and where do you live?
Congrats. 2 great options. |
