+1 it would feel terrifying and even more personal to have been there earlier in the day and then left, compared to a random person elsewhere. Yes people would absolutely share that they had that close cnxn to 9/11 and there is nothing wrong with that. |
Let's just indulge your delusion and say she was. Trump laid out zero plans, had no complete sentences and was a rambling mess. He talked about eating pets. What a winner, HUGE, the bestest. |
I wasn't impressed with the moderators at all. They allowed Trump to overtalk, get in the last word, lie over and over again. He was constantly allowed second and third bites, but Harris was rarely offered rebuttal time. The moderators failed to turn off Trump's mic. |
Like the other senators, she was at the Capitol on 1/6. |
And some of this think that it SHOULD have happened during the Biden- Trump debates. Unfortunately, Trump lies so frequently and so flagrantly that the traditional “rules” for political debating aren’t adequate any more. Even the PP’s posts about Trump’s “corrections” are lies. Trump did say “fine people on both sides”. He has also used the term “blood bath”. Many of Trump’s lies are well-documented — including by his own tweets. |
They let Trump talk for a full 9 minutes longer than Harris. |
The questions were all basic. If someone said "what should the debate cover" and the answers were: economy, abortion, Ukraine, immigration then you would have had 90% of the debate topic covered. This is not really hard to anticipate. |
Until 3 Trump appointed SCOTUS nominees lied that Roe was "settled law", there was no need to deal with it legislatively. Why haven't the GOP dealt with immigration legislatively despite the gazillion opportunities to do so? |
Turns out that woman is US-born and raised. NOT a "Haitian" or "Venezuelan" migrant. And a single random incident, probably involving a mentally ill US citizen. Trump FALSELY claimed there was an epidemic of hordes of migrants roaming the streets of Ohio stealing cats and dogs and eating them. Trump LIED. A big fat dripping whopper of a lie. Just like how he LIED about executing babies after they are born. |
She did answer both questions. She was the tie-breaking vote that supported fracking under the IRA. She supports Roe and would codify it under law if given the opportunity. If you need to parse it, Roe would allow for a late term abortion of the baby isn't viable or if the life of the mother was at risk. |
I would argue that they gave Trump way too much leeway to rebut when it wasn't his turn. They fact checked Trump 3 times. They were ridiculously blatant lies that needed to be fact checked. According to CNN, the lies were 33-1 in favor of Trump. So count that as a win or something? |
While I agree that if she wasn't sheltered in the Capitol any claim to be there is misleading, but why is this such a GOTCHA OP?
Can you please now find all the Wharton professors, the top professors, who support Trump's economic plan? The Washington Post reports they couldn't find a single one. I'll wait... |
because GOP donors benefit from the status quo and voters will vote for them to save them you fix the problem then they have no need to vote for them |
