Specific political affiliation doesn’t matter but no far left or far right or anyone who can’t see the failings in their own party and leader.

I am fairly apolitical but pretty centrist in my values / beliefs. I have zero interest in someone who is really into politics. I have little respect for any politician.

Merely having voted for Trump is fine. Tons of Obama voters voted for Trump (i.e., against Hillary). Most of DCUM probably considers those voters to be undatable though.

Trump has repeatedly said that he hates minorities and wants to deport them all. Shortly after he took office, citizens and green card holders were harassed and sometimes detained while traveling (did everyone just forget this?). So no, as a natural born citizen who is also a racial minority, I would not be friends with a Trump supporter, much less date one. You're basically saying that you don't think I belong here, and you're willing to destroy my family and my future for some political football. I'm horrified that Republicans repeatedly gloss over these details.

Absolutely not.

I can deal with Republicans, and most of my family is, but not MAGAs. I’m forced to deal with some of these folks as family members but would not choose to otherwise. I certainly would it share my life with someone who shares MAGA values.

But they wouldn't want to date my bleeding heart liberal self either, so i don't have to worry about that.

We would disagree on too many big picture items and would either avoid talking about the world or anger each other.
