Why is that hard? America is not split between white america and black america. There isn't two countries in America. There is just America and all citizens given freedoms, white americans, black americans, hispanic americans, etc.

Am I missing something in my logic? Why cannot the Palestenians be granted Israeli citizenship and become citizens?

And yet if anyone says the state of Israel should not exist it is antisemitic. It is only allowed to say a Palestinian state should never exist.

Bingo.

That makes no sense. Like learn to write a grammatically correct sentence first. Palestinians are the ones who rejected the two state solution. Nice try in manufactured outrage. You need to brush up on the history of this conflict before posting this trash.

Oh look another Zionist post. Yell and scream at anyone who say Israel should not exist while saying a Palestinian state will never exist. Take your milḥemet mitzvah some place else.

I’m not a Zionist nor am I even Jewish. I’m your average American who has lived through this BS for years and think both sides suck but Hamas is a terrorist organization who places the destruction of Israel over the needs and well being of Palestinians people. Hamas/Arafat whoever never negotiate in good faith.

Israel is a dictatorship and they even raided Al jazeerah office and have banned its broadcasts in Israel

I have much more sympathy for the victims. Israel is strongly right wing and bigoted.
At some point you have to acknowledge that religious ideology is just that, an idea. Not realistic or possible to implement.
The 80% Jewish majority is not sustainable if you want peace. Compromise must be made somewhere. The current situation is not sustainable in the long term.
Israelis are giving their children a terrible legacy

There are more Palestinians than Jews from a population standpoint, so in a one state solution, the Jews would be ceding control.

That is why Biden and others support a two state solution.

Sounds a lot like South Africa. The white majority didn't want to cede control to the Black majority they'd stolen the place from. I think we can all agree that it was for the best that they get over it and share. And no one should have been surprised when the Black population refused to be corralled into ghettos and disenfranchised in their own country.

Minority rule is wrong. Treating people as second class citizens in their own country is wrong. Those people are always going to fight you, by any means necessary, until they are given their freedom.

It isn’t like South Africa. It is its own problem and has an entirely different history.

Whites did not steal South Africa

Because a Jewish state assumes a Jewish majority and a Jewish rule. That's why.

Why does there have to be a Jewish state at the expense of the Palestinian people. In what other circumstances do we allow ethno and religious states? We didn't allow America to become a "White" country. No one split South Africa into two.

If Jewish people want to live in Israel, fine, but you don't get to cleanse the place of everyone else who lives there, and you don't get to disenfranchise those people and treat them as second class citizens. It's not a sustainable solution and was never an appropriate response to the Holocaust. It just feeds into this idea of Jewish supremacy, and isn't any different than white supremacy and other such nonsense.

It is different, though. Sorry but Jews are special. Truly they’ve been persecuted throughout history and everyone kinda hates them. If they want to be left alone to in their own state, it’s the most reasonable basis for “supremacy” that ever existed.

There are what … 7.5 - 8M Jews here in the U.S., right? So we actually have more Jews than Israel? If that’s the case, and it is, this “own state” argument doesn’t hold any water at all.

It’s not needed. I’m not arguing that it shouldn’t exist, but the argument that it should exist, or that it MUST exist, is an empty one. It’s here now, so we need to figure out how to get these groups to coexist. But it’s not NEEDED.

People need to understand the difference between wants and needs.

They could have Ireland.

There are 36 million Irish Americans and only 7 million in Ireland. Why does Ireland need to exist?

I dont remember Millions of Irish immigrating to Ireland from another continent, violently displacing people already living there and making them homeless refugees, while violently oppressing the ones left. The difference between Ireland and israel is that irish people who are there have always been there, while in israel the bulk of the population moved there from Europe after WWIi and created a state kicking out thr local population

I don’t buy that propaganda, Jews are no more special than anyone else.
And by the way, the Gypsies in Europe have been persecuted more

This wasn't one of your original criteria in your argument. Do you often have to move the goal posts to support your arguments?

I'm old enough to remember when Israel was behind a two state solution conditioned upon Palestine recognizing them as a viable state. Palestine said no

Wrong. The PLO said yes. It is the Israelis that changed their mind after Rabin was assasinated by Israeli terrorists.

I am old enough to remember the PM being murdered because he agreed to the Oslo Accords. Israel and the US were never serious about peace or a fair and just outcome for the Palestinians. The sad truth is Israel will continue the killing, oppression, settlements, terrorizing their neighbors and the region with the full support of the US political system. Israel and the US are at fault for the misery of the Middle East. The only country standing in opposition is Iran.

Yigal Amir was not a terrorist. He was following Jewish law. Many rabbis had proclaimed din rodef. There is no hope for the Palestinians.

As indigenous as anyone living in US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
The norm for the modern times is to accept every person with citizenship as being indigenous
