I'm a small club indie rock/soul and Americana lover...but damn, I just saw 74 year old Bruce Springsteen for the first time.... in a large arena... and that was pretty special.

Not surprising. A brie lover enjoys camembert too.

1. Sting at MSG years ago. Sang for almost 3 hours, no breaks, no costume changes, no gimmicks, just his beautiful voice and a guitar. Sounded just as good if not better than the songs’ studio versions.

2. R.E.M. on a magical summer night at Jones Beach (outdoor venue) ages ago where I was in the first row of the pit and made eye contact with Michael Stipe a number of times, incl during Losing My Religion.

I wish I could have seen Queen live, they had amazing shows too.

I will cherish these memories forever!

Harry Styles. No fancy stages, no dancers, just him, his voice, his charm and his megawatt smile.

The Roots for a NYE concert. Incredible.

Prince Row 5 Warner Theater the year before he died. Michael Jackson like row 20 at the former capital center. The concert where he swung out over the crowd. I was in a floor seat. Beyond words!

Many other fabulous shows. These were tops!

PP. and yes Sting back in the day at Jiffy Lube. Haven’t been as impressed with him more recently. His voice seems tired. Understandably.

Taylor Swift (Red, 1989, Reputation, Eras Tour were all fantastic)

I like Taylor Swift a lot, but frankly she has no business sharing a page with Prince, Zeppelin, Sting and the rest on here.
