Weight loss drugs for just a little weight loss

Anonymous
OP, just get the weight loss injections (ozempic, wegovy, etc) from a med spa. They will definitely help with binge eating and cravings. But prepared to stay on them long term. These drugs are amazing! And if they don’t help, then go to a therapist. Good luck!

With that 10 lbs your face will look at least a decade older.

OP. I think I am going to try it. I need about 2400 calories now to maintain. I guess I have a high metabolism; I eat like crap and I eat a lot. I find even going down to 1800 to be tough. I started Noom for the 38th time yesterday and I could not stick to the 1640 max calories…I binged on two packs of peanut butter crackers before bed. Still stayed around 1800 which is very good for me. But I am obsessed with food. I think about it all day. I hate how hungry I always am and how depressed I feel thinking about cutting back. I feel like I need some help to knock out these extra pounds and then I will find maintenance (probably 2000-2200/day for me) easier.

So my question is…which drug should I use and how do I get it?

Your doctor can prescribe one for binge eating, it’s just a matter of you being wiling and able to pay out of pocket for it.

Vyvanse will help quiet the food noise, but it makes me feel anxious and paranoid.

Phentermine/ adipex works in a similar way to vyvanse, but only works for a couple of months, it also makes me anxious and disrupts sleep. However, if you are trying to get through the getting off sugar phase and returning to healthy eating it might be sufficient.

I just listened to Julia Louis Dreyfus interview Billie Jean King on her podcast.

Billie Jean talks about her binge eating and it made me tear up listening to someone else talk about it, and explain it.

Just upping the protein doesn’t help when you suffer from binge eating disorder.
