Does anyone have more insight on what’s happening at Westbrook? It seems like something is going on as the principal is not returning and the vice principal announced retirement.

Families want to know what’s happening at this school. Having a principal that is not coming back after being on leave and a vice principal that announced retirement around the same time is really suspect. Ok drama llama--I don't have kids at Westbrook, but question your assupmtion that having a principal on leave threatens the safety of your child. Why don't you email whomever is acting for the principal and ask? Or better yet, join the PTA and ask someone there.

I don't think the Vice Principal announcement is "suspect" at all given the reason provided int the email that went out to Westbrook parents.

PP - the letter that went out to families is no different than when corporate execs get pushed out. Publicly the announcement looks benign and positive, but under the hood, there’s a lot more going on.

I have to be honest that I’m interested as she made our time at Westbrook pretty challenging (SESES program).

It now says that she’s a 5th grade teacher?! Someone must have the story!
