How hard is physical therapy or occupational therapy school?

Good luck getting into a DPT program. The spots are limited and challenging to get. You need a 3.7+Undergrad and 3.7+ in the prerequisites. Even then people take 1-2 years to get a spot if ever. Many switch to something else.

Can you please share where you got this information? I'd like to talk to by teen about this as they are looking into possible career paths, but would like actual data.

Right. The starting salaries for PTs are great but they don't go up much from there. It's not like in 20 years he'll be making 200K. He'll probably be making $100K. It's all limited by reimbursement.
It's not like other fields where as you get more skilled you get paid a higher wage.
