Book: The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle.

My girls are 12 (just turned 12) and almost 8. I got myself a microwaveable neck wrap this week and they instantly both wanted to use it. Last year my sister got them and their cousins some face masks in different scents (like packets you unwrap and put on your face) and they loved those. Neither are very “girly” (my older daughter loves nature activities and soccer) but both love the occasional “spa” treat. I think I’ll give them both a box with items like this, some nail polish, some moisturizer etc.

1) Water bottles
2) Slimes...brands like Snoopslime, Dope slime, Peachybaby slime
3) Fuzzy cozy pajamas
4) oversized sweatshirts and hoodies
5) Belt bags, pouches that say things like "stuff"
6) bath lotions, skincare stuff
7) squishmallows
8) bands for watches and fitbits
9) jewelry
10) art stuff, bracelet making
11) sports equipment, clothing for their chosen sport (or dance)

This is a great list as the mom of a 9 year old who has been attending a lot of bday parties lately! I would also add that anything Taylor Swift related is hugely popular - friendship bracelets, shirts, bags etc. have been the biggest hit at recent parties

Definitely not Barbies for this age!
