Who calls a football player a “brute” these days? In this particular case, it’s so far off of the mark. While he is definitely a character, he is certainly not a brute. The guy got choked up in his SNL monologue (which was otherwise pretty good) because of how much watching it meant to him and his mom when he was growing up.

Definitely a PR stunt. He’s getting tons of exposure in the media and the relationship begins just as football season heats up? Her ex was a creep and reflected poorly on her, this guy is high profile and has a friendly likeable vibe.

Who doesn’t love dumb jocks. But seriously he isn’t dumb. He has a college degree, is tall, and has a high paying career, and involved family. I listened to a podcast he was on recently and 2 things to note. He called out Taylor again and he said he's ready to settle down. He could be pulling a Chris Evans who said this exact same thing every 2 years until it was true, but he seemed genuine.
