He is going to lose to Alsobrooks anyway (who came in hard yesterday with a bevy of huge endorsements), but the not voting for him because he is "old, rich, and white" is so beyond stupid, its almost trolling.

Age is not a physical trait either. I suppose skin color is. However, since MD is majority minority and becoming increasingly more diverse, there's a case to be made for that diversity to be finally reflected in the Senate.

Yet that's precisely why many MD voters won't ultimately vote for him and instead cast their ballot for someone like Alsobrooks. Stop pretending this isn't an issue.
