How much free tuition do private school teachers/staff kids get?

Other than St Alban’s full tuition hasn’t been the norm in my lifetime.


I find this so interesting. I'm new to the world of private schools (kiddo starts 4K soon), but definitely assumed that faculty and staff sent their kids for free or very close to it.

Teacher with two kids at a well regarded private. Had to apply for FA like everyone else and the reward is generous but I was not told it was guaranteed. However, my children's admissions process was understood to be more of a formality. The interview for my youngest focused on how she was different from my eldest that was already attending.

Most schools are 50%. StA is 100%. NCS 0%. Stone Ridge 33%. Holton and Landon 50%. You can also negotiate tuition remission as part of your benefits package at many schools.
