4 years ago I was starting my life over, after a marriage to a man who beat the crap out of me when I had cancer.

My life is wonderful.
I'm married to a man who adores me
I got out of my tiny town
I went to college
And I'm finally losing the weight, I'm on my way to being the woman I always wanted to be

Let's see. Four years ago I had a dd who was just a few months old. At this point I finally felt confident enough to take her out and was at Tyson Mall everyday strolling around and trying to figure the whole thing out..Perhaps you saw me? I now have two kids..take them everywhere withought any angst and am completely happy in my marriage. Not pefect but every year a little better and more fun!

Four years ago I was married, starting a new job, struggling with infertility, overweight and my mother's alzheimer's was finally diagnosed and took a turn for the worse. She's now in a dementia care facility far away from me and I miss her every day. I call but she doesn't remember me and has never met my daughter who is now just 14 months old.

4 years ago my new husband and I had a barbeque for my parents and brothers at our new house to watch the world cup. My mom ate loads and praised the food and the house. She also had me feel a lump in her abdomen and told me she hadn't been feeling well for a little while. 2 months later she was diagnosed with cancer. 6 weeks after the diagnosis, she died. I am SO happy we had that bbq, it was the last time I saw her eating well and pain-free.

Four years ago I couldnt imagine having the life I have now. I was married but we partied and worked hard and were never home and acted above the idea of having children. Now we have a DD and couldn't imagine life without her.
