Agree, that's why these are wonderful for read aloud time. You can talk about why those things wouldn't fly today. Otherwise it's hard to teach those things organically. |

Also, don't worry so much about "bored." I'd tell my kid, "great, then you can just lay back in bed and close your eyes and relax." Inevitably they'd get into the story. |
