I can't believe he is going forward with this trial after he got hosed in the very similar case in the U.K., although this is US defamation v. UK libel. He lost in a country where the libel laws are way more favorable to the plaintiff.

The good thing is that this is not going to devolve into a circus shitshow. I’ve appeared before the Chief Judge. She’s a no-nonsense ex- Marine who will totally command and control the courtroom and follow th rules of evidence. She won’t be starstruck at all. She’s a great judge for this kind of case.

She never named him whatsoever. She can give money, and say she represents that cause, but oddly that's the mountain Depp is going to die on. I think the reality is she took him for a ride instead of the usual way around. The way he did his ex I guess was Karma. Still I find it sad he couldn't let it all go. That's what this is all about, and his lawyer is laughing all the way to the bank IMO.

I don’t think he cares about losing. All this does is further embarrass her. The information about her pooping on the bed and hitting him was just round one.
