Nora |
It's always been Norah in our family for about 4 generations, so I had Norah on my list -- but, I had boys. |
Also, Noreen. |
^^meant Noreen is also an Irish nn for Honora that became a standalone. |
I'm a Nora who changed my name to include a 'h' because of Norah Jones. |
That's very odd. |
Norah tends to be the English version and Nora the Irish version. I had one English Great Aunt who insisted on putting the H on the end of my name. I don't know if she just never remembered or was trying to diss my Irish side of the family ha ha |
Eh, same. I guess we're both weird. |
My dd has a name ending in /h/ that can also end in /a/. So, I vote for Norah. |
My Irish family always uses the h |
Nora! |
Same. Nora and Sarah are my preferences. |
Hmm maybe it's a regional thing my family is from Co Fermanagh where do yours live? |
