I am not ready to be surprised when she is only 32. If we get to 36, maybe then I will be surprised. It's got to be hard when you are worth millions, date men who have fame and fortune lesser or equal to, etc. Much different, more complicated life than if she did not have all this success. Anyway, we don't know that she wants children. Some women don't, most women do, OR some do it because it is expected. Just because she sings songs that seem like romance novels, doesn't mean she is conventional. I mean, actually it's pretty obvious she is unconventional. I love Britney Spears, and you could say she is more conventional! She wanted kids, has always made clear she wanted kids, still wants kids, etc. She always talked about it. Has Taylor said anything about kids? IDK, I do not follow her that closely, but I did watch Miss Americana, and I thought that this woman is really into her art, her ideas, fashion, her romances. Doesn't add up to her needing marriage though. |
What?! She used Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds kids name in her song…this is how people found out that their last kid’s name was Betty. |
+1 Isn’t her mother also suffering from brain cancer? She might be slightly preoccupied with that. |
That’s called a beard/coverup. Fan girls eat that stuff up (ooohhh Betty is the baby). TS refers to herself as James in the song. |
Both of you pps are living in a bubble . Saying that conservatives don't love Taylor Swift is remarkably ignorant and betrays a thorough knowledge of Swift's career trajectory. Up until Donald Trump, she had the particularity of having carved a unique lane—that of being the go-to singer for the teens, tweens, and young white women in the south and middle America. Her success is owed in part to presenting herself as prim, proper and safe for the aforementioned demographics. As such , at the height of her career , you couldn't find her making any statement that even remotely sounded political . Hence, swift , unlike some of her peers never lent her star power to things like : support for gay marriage or outright campaigning for Obama à la Katy perry . It wasnt until white supremacists tried to claim her as of their own ( thanks in no small part to her white darling image ) that she initiated what can aptly be called as a split , albeit a forceful one, with those who thought she was their cultural standard bearer *wink* She denounced white supremacy, Trump, and called for people in Tennessee to not vote for Marsha Blackburn. Anyone who followed her career knows this was a tectonic shift . Carrie Underwood has never been anywhere near swift as far as fame goes. I say this as someone who isn't a fan of either one of them. I couldn't care less about her ssxuality, but to pretend that a huge chunk of the demographics that made her rich and famous won't care is to be wrapped in some pathetic bubble that can't burst soon enough. Dcum, Logan circle or Adam's Morgan are representative of a statistically insignificant part of America —culturally and demographically. |
| My 20 yr old and 15 yr old DDs would care less if she were gay/bi/straight/pan sexual. They would only care if she were a Trump supporter (big negative) |
Girlfriend!! I agree with you, emphatically, AND I love you. That last sentence, |
DP. The song that clearly is about Karlie is “Dress.” She literally sings “I don’t want you like a best friend” over and over. |

I don't understand why people like OP feel such need to be nasty towards people they don't even know. Every day, it's something nasty against a famous female artist or celebrity. I notice the men are usually spared. OP, please go spew your hate somewhere else. |
What makes you think he hasn't? He's a middling actor with a negative net worth and she's worth $400 million. The house they're renting in London is hers. She has nothing to gain by accepting his proposal as long as she has his pretty head in bed beside her every night regardless. |
Completely disagree. While she may have began as straight laced country girl, her trajectory & persona changed long ago. So, no, I don’t buy she’s pretending to be heterosexual out of fear of losing fans. So dumb! Lol |
It’s not about the fans. It’s about the PARENTS of those teens. The parents who spend the money on albums, tickets, and merch. Tho, I argue that her fan base is now old enough to have their own money. Do tweens still like TS? |

Too true! My 17-year-old daughter and her friends are long time Taylor Swift fans. and could not care less about her sexuality. And for those who are saying what’s wrong with her she’s 32 and not married, etc. Etc. Sometimes all famous powerful women have a hard time finding a man who can deal with that. Her whole image is not filled on being weak. She has a lot of songs about being angry and strong. By the way one of my favorite songs of hers is called The Man. Listen to the lyrics, I agree with them entirely. |
I agree. I just posted about the song the man. That’s exactly what that song goes into. Taylor being a woman is questioned and critiqued in ways only a woman is critiqued. If she were a man, she would be “the man“. |
