What is your educational background/degree?

I'm sure a lot of people don't know this one: it's Certified Health Education Specialist.

Typically it's for people who have a graduate degree from a health related field (public health, health promotion, health communication, health education, etc.) and if the CHES people recognize your program as viable you can study and take the exam to get your certification.

It's one of those extras - I can't really say it's advanced my career that much, though some jobs require or strongly encourage it if you want to do community health education. I'm in policy so I don't really need it, but after I got my grad degree it seemed like an easy thing to study for, take and have in my back pocket!
