How has this guy not been banned yet? |
You mean like when you were and things were quiet for a couple of days. |
Unfortunate but they don't ban based on repeated delusional, ignorant comments. In his head he has created an alternate reality where he is right simply so his DD can have an easier path and no amount of facts will dissuade him. Heck he hasn't even been able to come up with alternate "facts" from anywhere and he still thinks he is right. He actually said at one point that officials are making decisions based on his comments in DCUM. This is my first forum and I am guessing that that every one is ruined by someone like him. Guessing that the mods actually don't care that the conversation is garbage as long as it seems like it has active for the advertisers. |
You realize that Arlington just updated their BY to SY FAQ to address the Aug-Sept younger player issue. They did this because its an issue and will continue to be an issue until leagues provide some type of guidance. |
Except they don't want special preferences for younger players based on grade because how you play on the field has to matter. Arlington has a club reputation of college recruitment. They know what they are doing. |
Watch what happens. Nobody on an Arlington roster will be a grade older in school playing down on a grade younger club team. You'll be able to confirm yourself by reviewing players on different rosters with bios on the ECNL site. One of the first things listed in each players bio is graduating year. This is done purposefully for college recruiting. |
That's the delusional part. They still say everybody plays on age, best can play up. Nobody forced up. Nothing changed. |
They updated the FAQ and added a section about Aug-Sept younger birthdays last night. They did this because they realized that its an issue. |
Arlington added "School grade may be considered as part of the evaluation" seems like theyre acknowledging grade in school could be a deciding factor in which team they place players. |
All clubs are going to form the teams so they are the most competitive. Your feelings won’t matter. |
| Arlington ECNL has a couple/ few kids that fall into Aug/ Sept and some are on grade and some are on a grade below. Their status on the team will determine which team they will play on next year. |
They didn't change anything, you are relying on may/seems/could. These still stand; "Q: How does this affect my player if they’re born in August–December? A: These players are most likely to shift age groups. " "Q: Can players play up an age group? A: Playing up is a coaching and technical decision based primarily on the player’s skill level, soccer maturity, and overall development needs. While Arlington Soccer allows flexibility in certain cases, playing up is the exception rather than the rule. Each situation is carefully evaluated by the technical staff to ensure it is in the best interest of both the individual player and the team." |
Since no one knows about what MLSN will do, does Arlington put this out there put the rumor of them switching to MLS/ GA to rest? |
Why do you lie? Q: Can a player born between August 1 and September 30 play up if they are in the higher school grade? A: School grade may be considered as part of the evaluation, but the decision to allow a player to play up is ultimately based on technical criteria including the player’s skill, maturity, and readiness for the older age group. Grade alone does not guarantee that a player will play up. |
Yeah, no one is arguing that. The point of debate is whether kids will be forced to play by grade. And they specifically SAY grade alone is not enough. |
