Mammogram

| At my last obgyn visit the doctor did a breast exam but did not suggest a mammogram. I didn't think of it until now but at what age do you start having mammograms? I am 33. There is no breast cancer in the family as far as I know. |

| I think it is age 40 for base line if no history of cancer in family, or lumps found. |

| 40 is the recommendation. You can get one at 35, baseline, often if yo uhave a family history. BUT, 35 year old breasts are very dense and sometimes hard to see anything via mammo... |
