Not sure what is up with that emoji but I wrote: CSI : DCU lol. |
| The email said nothing. If you really care to determine if it’s real or fake just ask your club. Most would be happy to put this back on mlsn instead of fielding questions from parents about next year. The clubs don’t have any information either. |
Maybe its because MLS intends to stay BY and is just doing business as usual. Now go away ECNL parent. So nosey and in eveyone else's business. |
The person who says "I have a September MLSN kid" is the same one who is arguing for BY. It was purely made up to appear it is not for self interest. |
Yet you keep posting on a thread titled "ECNL moving to school year" .. |
Can you post the link? I’d like To check this fake screen shot Reddit forum. |

BREAKING: College Soccer Gets Full-Year Seasons & Pro Pathways! Longer seasons, smarter regional matchups, and closer ties to pro and national programs are coming. Men's soccer will run August-April with a winter break, while women will get a new elite spring competition. Modernized eligibility and transfer rules give players more flexibility, all aimed at healthier, more competitive, and pro-ready soccer. |
I need to see the small print but seems pretty nice |
No they wont because they are making it up. Just trying to call people liars with no real facts to back it up. |
Here's the thread that talks about this - none of it's guaranteed. It was all recommendations that were part of the NextGen Soccer Committee report. We'll see what sticks coming out of it. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1297103.page |
Since colleges are now paying players. Pro teams should be paying colleges for the development of players turning pro. Do this and suddenly college soccer is self funding.
|
What does BY/SY have to do with this ? |
They want more college players going pro not fewer. |
Pro teams need to get players somewhere. Paying colleges for developing talent might seem weird at first but what it will do is incentivize colleges to develop players to the highest level the way pro trams want them to be. When this occurs college teams and coaches that participate in developing to the highest level are rewarded for their efforts. What will happen is when theres money involved the end product will be a much higher level. |
Says that college will be for 17-23 year olds. So this is good news for the GY boogeyman guy. No one will hold their kids back otherwise they would be too old for college soccer. |
