Any objective person would agree that Beyoncé has some songs with crass/trashy lyrics. That’s a fact.

If a performer wants to carry themselves in an overtly sexual and crass way, that’s their prerogative.

But that doesn’t mean others can’t judge them based on their body of work and how they carry themselves.

As a woman, I think a lot of women performers do a disservice to themselves and our gender. They certainly aren’t role models. Some people solely use fame and fortune as a metric for role models, and that’s weird imho.

What about intellect? Character?

Interesting. I was a huge B fan but haven't been interesting in a lot of her recent records. I like that she's experimenting but it doesn't feel very authentic

At least that cover is well arranged and has other good vocalists on the track. The Jolene cover is awful.
