Help understanding visual-spatial deficit

My son (17) just had a neuro-psych a few weeks ago. He's had several evals prior to this one, but never a full neuro-psych. Historically his visual-spatial skills have tested very low and the same with this eval. The neuro-psych briefly explained how this impacts someone but I wondered if anyone might be really familiar with this or could point me to a web site or articles where I can read more about it. I googled and found lots of results but nothing that really explains in the context of neuro-psych testing. TI:

I would also go back to the tester and ask for resources and what if anything your kid can/should do.

OP here. Thanks, 20:55, I will definitely check out the article. 20:59, I'm not sure if he lacks depth perception, I'll have to ask the neuro-psych

PP here. You can also take him to an ophthalmologist to get tested for depth perception. I've seen a correlation between a lack of depth perception and challenges with spatial reasoning in a couple of people that I know.

Thanks, 20:55. That is actually a great idea because he had vision therapy for around 2 years at age 5. I should take him back now to see where everything is at.
