This doesn't exist unless you go to a pay to play "academy". It's a revolving door for Pro Academy.

That’s what pay 2 play is. Guaranteed spot. That does not put enough pressure to extract a player’s highest efforts and value. The current soccer culture avoids pain and discomfort when that pain, discomfort and failures are the attributes that build a player.

There is annual turnover throughout the world in academies. In this situation, DCU is actually operating normally.

I believe Chicago Fire does it for three years if you enter at u13 but that is only one I heard of that does it. Doesn’t mean others don’t however.
