He is not adopted. He was born to a teen mom who left her boyfriend. Senior Bezos married his mom and adopted him. He was a Val of his large public HS and high achieving. He was hardly a dud.

He was adopted by his stepdad. But his mom is his biological mom.

His bio dad abandoned his teenage mom soon after he was born. But his mom remarried after a few years and he has a half sister I think.
I believe I read Jeff Bezos was class valedictorian-I dont think he was ever thought to be a “dud.”

Definitely not a dud, he went to an Ivy and had several impressive job offers at graduation.
