Their is a formal rule to grant flexibility, the best players get to play up.

Clubs and leagues over time will force Aug and younger players to play with their grade. A team coaches will ignore grafe older players looking to play down. Which will force them to play on their grade B team. Its what happened in 2016 and before and its what will happen again.

Can you provide any cite for this happening before 2016?

What I don't understand is the parents that think they'll have a choice in which team they'll be playing on. Top A team coaches have multiple players they can choose from for every position. Why would coaches choose a grade older player when they know they'd be a short-timer and guaranteed to eventually leave the team to play on a team thats their grade for recruiting? Some people will say that they're better than the other players that are a grade down. If this is true why didnt they make the A team thats their grade in school? It doesnt make sense.

Nobody was looking to play down in 2016. It just wasnt a thing. Maybe it was because clubs werent allowing Aug and younger players to play down a grade.

Should be easy to find a document with a rule stating that. Funny no one has shared that yet.

This poster is trying to provoke outrage regarding a group of kids who will be playing their correct age group within the new age range. He’s encouraging coaches to ignore them and other parents to bully them. It’s inappropriate and shouldn’t be on here.

Coaches choose the best players available to them. The better the team does, even if a player leaves for whatever reason, will make it easier to find that player's replacement.

My scholarly work is being around in 2016 and never seeing or hearing about players playing down a grade. I dont know why it was this way it just was.

Did anyone even talk about what their grade was? Maybe people didn't think about/care either way (like know, btw).
