| We are going to spend our first weekend ever in Ocean City and want to enjoy fresh seafood. Any recommendations for best restaurants or mom & pop operations that we should visit? TIA |
| We always visit Harpoon Hanna's. Not in Ocean City, but a short drive away (Delaware). They have all you can eat king crab legs, which is our favorite, but many options. |

On the Bay Seafood.
Outdoor dining on picnic tables. Don't know if too late in the season. |
| Hooked for a restaurant. |
| The crab cake factory has the best bloody mary's !!! |
| It's worth the drive to Rehoboth to go to Big Fish Grill. Fresh fish and wonderful preparation. |
| Kent Narrows, can't remember the exit but right after the bay bridge. |
Yes - Harris' Crab House. There's also a fish market right near there, you can pick up stuff to take home on your return trip (bring a small cooler, they have ice) |
| On the bay seafood has the best crabs. It's very casual with picnic tables and sand outside. If you're looking for a nicer restaurant with good seafood the Hobbitt is really good. Another really good restaurant, not seafood but good traditional Italian, is Friscos. Both Friscos and Hobbitt have amazing sunset views. I'd suggest you avoid the all you can eat restaurants. I think they're universally bad. |
Is this for real? Do not waste your time driving to Big Fish. |

Casual picnic table meal - On the Bay, 41st st oceanside, great crabs by the dozen/half dozen (all you can eat ones are small)
For a fancier meal, traditional seafood, we like Sunset Grille in West OC. I've heard great things about Captains Galley too. For non-traditional seafood/more modern feel, we like Hooked on 81st st bayside and Liquid Assests 94th St bayside. |

I have never had better sea food than at the Henlopen City Oyster house. It is not cheap though (and is more of a nice restaurant).

This isn't what you're asking about but we just went and really enjoyed Bad Monkey for lunch (burgers in an awesome new outdoor space) and BellyBusters for casual early dinner (small, gets crowded at peak times, has a bit of everything).
