5 mo old crying in her sleep

I know my 5 mo old is in the midst of teething and we've been giving her motrin or tylenol and rubbing benedryl on her gums (all per her dr's orders). The last two nights she's been crying pretty hard and when we go into her room, she's still asleep, but very restless and crying. She used to fuss in her sleep a little but the full on cry is new. I'm going to call the advice nurse in a bit but just wanted a sense if this is something normal or not. And how long it may last. She's nice and well rested but I'm falling asleep at my desk!

My son has always cried every now and then in his sleep. I always just assumed it was a bad dream.
