Where to buy sectional that can hold up to kids/dog?

In need of a new sectional but not sure what to look for.... We have a nine month old puppy and a baby on the way. I was thinking leather over microfiber but not sure how it would hold up to the dogs nails..... And where should we look to find something decemt quality? Saw some other posts that recommend Costco, anyone have any experience with their furniture? I do love their return policy so might not be a bad place to start.

My advice: keep the dog off the sofa. I made the mistake of letting mine on the old furniture and, well, that's why it's the old furniture. It got smelly and yucky Md worn way too quick.

Kid is a different story. I got a Macy's sectional with the protection plan for that reason. It's holding up pretty well.

Same here- Our Ethan Allen sectional is over 10 years old, has been jumped on, spilled on, and has been the source of many, many pillow forts and still looks great. We selected a heavy upholstery that has a slight pattern, it doesn't show anything.

We got a leather sectional from Bob's Discount furniture. 4 years and 3 kids later, it still looks great.
