Room and Board Sale?

Hi -

According to their website, Room and Board does not have sales. But I seem to remember them having a sale (in store at least) last winter. Does anyone know if they do, in fact, have sales and when the next one might be?

I remember when we bought our couch last spring that the salesman said it's once a year the day after Christmas. I think it was floor samples and there's a line around the block. Never been but that's what the salesman said.

since it's a floor sample and a ton of people have sat on the couches of touches other types of furniture, how much off are we talking about? at least 30%?

there was a sale last year around Christmas or New Year, I don't remember. I did not go to the store but I saw it online (there was furniture on sale on the website). some styles of sofas were on sale but you could not choose the color, just what was on the website. The discount was pretty significant, but you are interested you need to jump because I remember that after just a few hours everything (at least most of the sofas I was looking at) were gone. my understanding was that this is their only sale, once a year

There's also floor sales in June/July. Check out their clearance section on their website regularly too.

They told us discontinued items go on sale when they swap out fabrics at the end of the year.
