Not the OP, but how is PCL humiliated. The only person who would know the identity of PCL are the people on her original listserve. I hope that some people on the listserve has told PCL the idiocy of her post.

A therapist might sat that the reaction to PCL's listserve post here is not ridicule (or not only ridicule), but is also "useful information" about how her expression of her viewpoint (I'm trying to be neutral here and not call it a self-absorbed and clueless rant) is perceived by others.

How others perceive us can be useful, whether or not we agree with it. PCL may or may not gain something from seeing the reactions (not that that is the point), but I think it's a bit over the top to pile on accusing folks here of being such meanies (since most of us have no clue who she is, or the people on here who do know who she is, are).
