Mud room cubbies

Has anyone had someone build cubbies for a mud room or entrance? What can we expect to pay for 3-4 of them? We're talking bout a bench with basket space below, and some hooks and maybe a shelf up top.

| you can buy that as one entire contraption. no need to hire someone to custom build it. |

| Closets by Design did a great mudroom for us with cubbies. ours was more extensive (storage to the ceiling above cubbies) but they will come out and give you a design and bid. you can work the price by selecting different materials and, of course, building a smaller mudroom. we are extremely happy with their work. |

| I had a handyman build a corner one for my mudroom with 4 cubbies. It was about $400. It was white and overall came out nice. Kids use it and really helps with the mess. |

It was back in 2009 and i can't find the invoice in my email. But we had about 20 feet of a combo of cubbies and floor to ceiling cabinets installed (two walls of a huge entry area) so the price wouldn't be comparable. Having them out for a quote does not obligate you in any way. They also do magic with closets, of course. We've used them for 4 closets and the mudroom and recommend without hesitation. |
