The name just makes me think Beatrix Potter--but I think those pies were made of mice.

| Sliced and sauteed with butter and garlic. The smaller the better for pattypan squash - bigger ones can be bland, tough. and watery. |
| I think just use them in any recipe you'd use summer squash or zucchini unless the shape is a factor in that recipe if that makes sense (slices, etc.). |
