I am not sure about logic of creating two vastly different FARMS ( Woodward and WJ) when they are less than a mile apart on the same road.

For any MCPS school, private is usually better. If you can afford it, go elsewhere.

There are range of schools in MCPS. Tilden seems to be really bad.

It will be bad! They will probably pick the worst possible outcome from the worst boundary choices too to make it even worse.

How could see the parent completing the assignment on the Google doc when the kid was not on their Chromebook? That sounds awful but just trying to understand

If you open a shared Google Doc, you can see edits live. Someone is signed into the student’s account and typing, but it clearly isn’t the student. Logical conclusion is that it is the parent, though it could be a tutor.

It seems to indicate a very poor admin. Second possibility, population in Old Farm/Luxmanor area is vastly different from nearby areas. I live far away so don't have any direct knowledge.

If that's the case, how come Farmland ES is a decent ES?

Farmland is an excellent elementary school and the Old Farm community where it is located is a great place to raise a family. Tilden has wonderful teachers but as stated earlier, there are some behavior issues. Not necessarily violent - just some disruptive kids and the school doesn't necessarily handle it well. I don't know if it is any worse than in other MCPS middle schools. That said, my child loves it at Tilden.
