Best way to reheat leftover cordon bleu

Anonymous
Last night we went to Old Europe and I had the chicken cordon bleu. It was delicious but a huge portion. I took half of it home and I want to reheat for dinner. How would you do this so it would be good? I don't want to put it in the microwave b/c it will get rubbery.

TIA

300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. You want to warm it up, not cook it.

I would use a mixture of powdered broth and wine. Gently simmer it with a cover on.

Air fryer, or bake it in oven - same way you’d heat up Popeyes chicken.

i want to batter and deep fry some leftover chicken cordon bleu that i'll cut into bite size pieces. can't find any real recipes for this; they all want you to make it all from scratch. any ideas?

I would warm it up as suggested. I would slice it and serve it in rounds.

You also might want to add a sauce. I would make something like a Red Pepper Coulis, slightly spicy and sweet. Deseed a red pepper, char the outside over a gas flame,, peel off the skin, puree the red pepper in a blender, add a small amount of chicken stock or cream (preferable) and salt/pepper to taste. If you don't have a red pepper but you have jarred pimento, then you can get a similar effect by pureeing the pimento, and adding the cream. If you want a little more spice, add a small amount of Tobasco or hot paprika.
