| I'm 39 and have a special event that I want to look my best for in two months. I'm planning to get hair, nails and make-up professionally done. I've been thinking of doing a body wrap since I did one before and felt it helped me look a little better in my clothes for a couple days. I'm wondering if there's anything else I should consider, maybe from a dermatologist, to look rejuvenated. Maybe an application of spray tan? Vellashape? I'm willing to invest some time and money, but not to do any plastic surgery. I've never done any face treatments, other than occasional facials. Any suggestions? |
| Get your hair highlighted the week before, just like for a wedding. |

Any necessary waxing the week before.
I've had facials that I've loved and facials that I felt did absolutely nothing. Like waxing, be sure to leave ample time before the event for any irritation to subside. You don't mention diet/exercise but you have plenty of time to lose a few pounds or tone up if needed. I would also focus on eating healthy and cutting out as much processed sugar (not fruit for me) as possible. It makes a world of difference for my skin |
| Zoom teeth whitening. A tasteful spray tan if necessary. |

Instead of a wrap, I would completely overhaul my diet and do some serious exercise. Clean eating will help your face, hair, nails, etc. you have time.
I also agree with everything else..teeth, tan, maybe a little Botox depending on your wrinkle situation. |

| If you opt for Botox remember that it takes at least a week to work. Best to leave at least 2-3 weeks to get the full effect. |
| Thanks for the suggestions every one. Hadn't thought of teeth whitening -- that's a good one. And yes, I'm already dieting and exercising in preparation. And I appreciate the Derm Diva suggestion. |
