DC DPR Little Explorers Friendship Park a/k/a Friendship Park

Hi, my 4 y/o is signed up for a week of the DC DPR Little Explorer's camp at Turtle Park starting soon. We may be getting cold feet though, b/c we can't find anyone who's actually done it. I took a spin through these forums and saw very little on this.

I'd be interested in feedback on any of the DC DPR Little Explorer's camps, but, since I gather they differ quite a bit from place to place, mostly on the Friendship Park/Turtle Park one. I'm interested in knowing:
- Who provided supervision? Was it adequate?
- Did you use the before care or after care? What did you think of it?
- Did you sense that the kids were provided with enough structure or were they just left to run wild?
- Did your child enjoy the experience? Did he or she pick up any particularly obnoxious behaviors?

I am a little nervous b/c of what I've seen in this forum about kids left more or less on their own without structured activity supposedly under the supervision of neglectful teenagers. I'd be relieved to hear from parents who had better experiences, but any information will be good to know.
