Agreed, but we are seeing clusters, not widespread right now. And I'm going to venture a guess that it weakens as it becomes more widespread.

I suggest you read the accounts of young people who developed it in Wuhan China. It made a flu sound like a walk in the park. Bad chest cold is now how it is in some people. The 80% have mild colds may or may not be accurate.

Well that guy probably would have been better sooner if he didn't drink the whiskey every night. Alcohol lowers your immune system. Funny how he got worse the day after he drank the whiskey.

The whiskey seems to be the only thing that kept him alive! Or at least it's the only thing that gave him any relief.

Whiskey actually raises your immune system - I might need to run out and stock up! Quite a few articles about it.

I don’t know enough to refute this, but can some doctor confirm for me the, i think, obvious proposition that there’s no indication whiskey fights viruses?

It's alcohol and alcohol kills virus. So I would imagine there could be some beneficial effects. I know a shot of whiskey when I have a cold really does help.

What’s wrong with internet and TV broadcast schooling? Even radio broadcast school lessons can be done. There are plenty of alternatives. Half of what they do in school can be skipped like art and PE and lunch hour. They can just do exercises in the living room to a tv instruction PE teacher.

The mortality in the 0 to 9 years old is zero.
The mortality in the age group 9 to 19 is NOT ZERO, it is 0.2 %... that is not nothing.. that is 2 people in 1000.

Let me bring it home for you:

Seoul has taken aggressive measures to control and contain.
