Dude, listen to yourself. That makes no sense. If you have a statement in your own book that contradicts your legal claims, it’s a problem. Not rocket science. And when your own book contradicts your later public statements, people should not believe you. None of this is anything but common sense. |
Grammar eludes you. Are you proud of your day job being a troll? PP hurt your feelings didn't she? |
All of this. |
Yes, this. |
From her own damn webpage
https://www.leighannetuohy.com/leigh-anne/ "They are the proud parents of daughter, Collins, and sons, Michael Oher and Sean, Jr. " Every other sentence is about her being an Advocate for Adoption. What's that about since she doesn't know anything about adoption. Liars. |
There were no decisions. What are you talking about? |
We don’t know right now. But what is out there is what I said above. Might they be lying? Sure. Is it likely they are lying? No. And the response from Michael’s lawyers is the reliable lawyers make when they are now uncertain about their client. That is when you say I try my cars in court and we believe our client and our petition. That is not a robust defense. May the facts all change. Sure. That is just not the way it is looking right now. |
There’s no money in the conservatorship. They weren’t acting as his agents signing contracts for him which by the way they would have had more power to do if they adopted him. All the nfl money went to him. There was very little money from the movie/book and they all split it. Oher claims this was about money but it clearly wasn’t. He’s either naive and poorly advised or just believes he can get money out of them from their other businesses. Leigh Ann’s foundation doesn’t pay either of them salaries. It raises and spends pretty modest amount of money on things like school remodeling projects. https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/383808388 Her public speaking brings in some money but not in the millions, she mostly advocates for fostering and adoption. Her book is at only ranked at 90,000 while Michaels is at 5000. Again, no millions there. I have no idea where oher is getting his ‘millions’ figure from. If he wants more millions he should invest in lots of fast food franchises like they did. Maybe then he can take in a struggling kid and help him apply to college. |
I'm not usually a grammar nazi, but I can't believe how poorly written that webpage is. Wow. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The movie, book, endless interviews, her whole identity had nothing to do with him?. Nothing at all? He would be nothing without them? They definitely made coin off of Michael. |
So we all should just shut up and ignore the fact that this was all one big lie and they led an 18 year old at risk kid astray. Wow, what great people they are. |
He was led astray? How so? |
and it's so humorous that most of us disagree with you and believe the Toueys are full of bs. Thanks Singer Slinger for telling us how we should "bet" on this. The Toueys are fake creeps. |
I would agree with you but so far there is no lie. He knew about the conservatorship. He is lying now in his petition. You can’t put it your book a decade ago and now say you did not know. Also how was he led astray? He did better at ole miss than he would have other places because they took care of him because of the family. When in college he got into a fight with a fellow player. During the fight Michael threw a desk or chair and it hit a toddler who was a kid of an assistant coach. Toddler was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Kid was ok. Ole miss coach got Sean. Sean paid a financial settlement to the assistant coach’s family. Sean also hired a lawyer who shot down the police investigation. Ole miss did not throw him out as they would have great player or not because of the book and the family. He was not led astray. |
Why are you calling their lawyer that? He is the best in LA and normally wins. Not a snowball’s chance that he is saying false stuff for people who are not and will never be big clients of his. |
