speech therapist rec for 5 year old

Can anyone recommend a speech therapist for a 5 year old. We live in NW DC, but could travel to Bethesda. DC preschool teacher at end of year meeting suggested getting an evaluation due to shyness, and thinking that work with a speech therapist may increase confidence to speak more to others. Teacher also stated that visiting staff ( one time visiting teachers) didn't always understand DC speech. Anyone have any recommendations?

Are there any male speech therapists in Bethesda or Rockville? My 9 year old does better with male teachers and has not clicked with any of his female speech therapists.
