Flooded basement-what to do first?

| New homeowner here. The basement appears to have flooded from outside. We have a fan and dehumidifier down there and have filed a claim. For now, is there anything else we should do? |

If you have wall to wall carpeting pull the wet part back and cut out any wet padding to allow floor to dry
Turn on fan in hvac system to circulate air |
