Marital Serenity

Anonymous
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The courage to change the things I can,

And wisdom to not lose my shit for the three to four days every month when I want to punch my husband in his half-beard and light the pile of his 642 dirty smartwool socks on fire because my PMS is raging.

That is all.

My mother has been in menopause for over a decade

I told my dad that I wouldn't blame, judge or be mad at him for leaving my mom when she was going through menopause... I was away at college and worried for his safety. Can't wait for my turn.

Thanks for the laugh! I had a baby 12 days ago and am trying *so hard* to keep my shit together with my husband who is "too busy" to take one fing day of (paid!) paternity leave while I'm home with 2 under 2 and a kindergartener.

On the upside, I haven't had a period in almost 3 years
