Specialized middle school and high school programs we should have in DCPS

There are IB programs, AP tests, some dual language, STEM and immersion schools.

What other programs can or should be come part of DCPS at middle school and high school?

I would love to others' thoughts/experiences from other cities as my viewpoint is so narrowly DC-focused.

I'd like to see something for the hard cases. Basically the kids that charters expel, and DCPS principals send back to their IB schools if they are OOB. Concentrating them in DCPS as schools of last resort doesn't do them any good and doesn't do their schools any good.

yep, something like that boarding school charter, but for the chronically late and absent, not those involved in criminality. Maybe a sports school.

IB [International Bacclaureate] is in some FCPS schools. It did not cause others to place in dramatically. And is very expensive.
