I am looking for an OT to come and evaluate my daughter. I would like in-home services if possible as she has a very compromised immune system and can not be in public places during RSV season.
Any recommendations on OT's that work well with premature children. My DD is 14 months but only 11 months adjusted to her due date) I have found that working with Early Intervention in DC is a waste of time. |
I would suggest giving Lynne Israel of Lynne Israel Associates (in Friendship Heights in DC) a call. I generally see children preschool and up but her occupational therapists are great. She also runs an OT camp during the summers. |
Is the PP an OT? I am looking for an OT that has feeding experience as well. Any thoughts? |
I recommend Jenn Rosenberg with Way to Grow. I am a pediatric PT and have worked very closely with her for many years. She does both home and school visits in the DC,VA area. She can be reached at 703-819-8225. |
Lynne Israel has an OT of staff with over 20 years of experience and she specializes in treating kids with feeding issues. |
Kristin Conaboy at Conaboy and associates.
She is a great OT, really dedicated She has an office but I wouldn't consider it a public place it is private and no one else is ever there when we are there. |
