Not sure these are 70s but The Godfather, or Rocky?
I remember that Alice was a big hit that inspired a sitcom. Looking for Mr. Goodbar? M*A*S*H Of course, Star Wars, Saturday Night Fever, Jaws What about the Robert Redford..oh you know, I'm blanking, the famous novel with Daisy (just remade badly with DiCaprio) What about the Steve McQueen one where he's on the motorcycle, or Cary Grant in North by Northwest (ok that's not 70s but wow) Now that I'm on that tangent of older stuff…Splendor in the Grass with Natalie Wood, West Side Story, Jailhouse Rock, and a fantastic oldie…His Girl Friday |
Dirty Harry - a true classic!
Though its not '70s, I also enjoyed Bridges of Madison County |

Great Gatsby was the one with Redford. |
Valley of the Dolls was really good, little earlier than the 70s but a good film. |
