Looking at a home in SCES neighborhood.

I've searched the archives for info on SCES and much of it predates the 2010 boundary change or is involved vehement denunciation of the principal by what sounds like the same 2-3 poster. I will have a 3rd grade boy in school next year and a K aged girl. We would be in the the non immersion wing of the school.

I toured the school, sat in a class and it seemed like a great school with nice after school activities , happy seeming kids, less diverse than I was lead to believe (we are biracial and want diversity).

My question is whether families are unhappy (not in comparison to theFI program) in general and what the school vibe is. Recent home sales in the neighbor hood show home selling quickly and escalating indicating that the area is desirable at least to someone.

Also is it the same principal and/or how long before she leaves
