Do you have recommendations for a 4-drawer dresser for our nursery? (The 4-drawer is bc we'd like to use the top as a changing table.) We're looking for modern or simple style, and around $300 or less. We liked the Ever After brand and quality, but not the price! (over $600--can we get good quality for less?) Unfinished furniture would be great too, if anyone can recommend a place to find that.
Thanks! |
We got our changing table/dresser at the Burlington Coat Factory. They have a huge baby section. Ours has two long bottom drawers, two small drawers, and one door. It is nice and spacious on top for the changing pad and diapers/wipes/creams/tissues, etc. Also the sides have a wooden border too.
DD is sleeping in her room so I'll check the brand name a little later. We actually just took the floor model since there was a clearance sale so we got it at $238. |
Wow--Burlington Coat Factory? Now that's an idea I wouldn't have come up with on my own--thanks very much. |
We had a hard time finding real wood for less than $500. We got a 3 drawer Bellini dresser (pricey) but it ended up as a gift from grandparents. There is a store that sells unfinished wood furniture on 355 just south of Gude Drive in Rockville called Zadia Unfinished Wood. I have no idea if they have the kind of piece you are looking for, but it might be worth a call.
I would have loved to do a project like this myself but ended up running out of time and energy. Sometimes Buy Buy Baby and Great Beginnings have sales or sell floor models so it might be worth checking back even if you've already been there. |
