If you liked the Cosby show during its original run, do you still like it?

Why or why not?

no, i was a teen when it came out and loved it. now it's just boring and dated. I don't hate it, but I don't watch it either.

yes. Actually I think it holds up great and is very funny. However, I am bummed that my kids don't like it so much. I have to say - now that I have kids - I just really love what Bill Cosby did as a parent on the show. he was a brilliant parent and so funny.

Loved it then and now, and I bought the series on DVD.

I was actually JUST wondering the other day why Theo's best friend's name was Cochroach. Did he have a real name? What was it? And why was he called Cockroach?

The Brady Bunch was a stupid show in the 70's . Why should your daughter possibly be interested in watching it 40 years later? You are just nostalgic for your own childhood. Let your daughter watch her own contemporary stupid shows.

His name was Walter. No clue why they called him cockroach. The real question is why the best friend on growing pains was allowed to be called Boner???

Yes, I think it holds up really well (especially if you ignore the cousin Pam episodes). Sure, there are some funny, dated moments (the clothes, the phones, etc) but the family dynamics are still very real.

DH and I still quote it sometimes. Like if we are planning and budgeting for a trip - There is a problem!! You haven't eaten yet!

Do you think a 5 year old would like the show? Or still too young?
